J-League Jikkyō Winning Eleven 2001 (known as World Soccer Winning Eleven 4) was released exclusively in Japan in June 2001. It is an addition to the Winning Eleven J-League series, and the successor to J-League Winning Eleven 2000.
The game only features club teams (no national teams) and teams from both tiers of the J. League totalling 28 teams. The game also features seven unlockable European teams. The game uses the Winning Eleven 2000 engine.

MASTER CUP mode is unlocked by winning the j-league 1 championship (it's divided into two parts). This mode includes seven European teams (Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, Arsenal, Juventus, Roma, and Milan), challenged in a mini-tournament by of J1 winner.
Once the tournament has been won, the European teams can be used in friendly matches.

Many many many many thanks to @pierinolartista (https://www.twitch.tv/pierinolartista) that, directly from REAL HARDWARE, recorded this ending! He's a real soccer fan, and has A LOT of japanese games!

Played and recorded by Pierinolartista as part of the videogame endings database, whose goal is to catalogue and create the world's largest archive of videogame endings! (what an humble and not ambitious project :D)
