Sadly this video is cursed it seems. Lots of audio issues and other hiccups ( seems like linux's USB drivers or subsystems are up to crap again ) and then in the end in spite of the work done we still find we've got a dead T2 :(

UPDATE: The CD3215 units were fake and the cause of the 250mA @5V behaviour.
