Jacob Umansky and Joseph Anidjar make a Lo-fi beat
194We challenged @JacobUmansky and @JosephAnidjar to write and record an idea using the Nano Cortex and Teenage Engineering OP-1.
The goal of the session wasn't to record and create the perfect song, but to get inspired to make music anywhere and with anyone. The recording limitations of the OP-1 and limited time presented a unique challenge to our artists, forcing them to fully commit to what they recorded. All music was written in real time.
Recording setup:
Nano Cortex powered with a USB-C power bank, plugged directly into the input of the Teenage Engineering OP-1 Field.
Everything was monitored through the built in OP-1 speaker.
