Perhaps my most ambitious project to date, responsible for filming and editing a highlight video for a 3 day, 2 night music and arts festival based on the outskirts of Chiang Mai.
Around 3000 people attended 2019's festival, which featured artists and musicians from around the world.
I dragged all my gear to the festival, utilizing a variety of equipment, including a GH4, an iPhoneX and stabilizer, and an action camera. Also co-ordinating with a filmmaker responsible for some fantastic drone and GoPro sequences, shot with the DJI Mavic 2 Pro and GoPro Hero Black 7.
The main challenge in post production was editing all the different 4k elements, and making a seamless montage, lining up the different footage and making it look coherent. Also, summarizing and attempting to capture the festival highlights and overall vibe.
Balancing that with getting appropriate footage for the two main sponsors, Leo and Moose Beer, and fulfilling various criteria for the client.
