Jak II: Playthrough Part 13: Enter The Shadow (+ Crate Crashing)
6After defending the Sacred Site of Dead Town from a Metal Head invasion, Jak & Daxter return to Torn at the Underground to some good news, and the reason why they joined the Underground to begin with...
They may now finally meet the Underground's leader... The Shadow. However, once the duo does see him, they couldn't believe who he turned out to be.
The Shadow... was Samos. Not only that, but he looked younger than the two remember of him, and Samos didn't even recognize the two.
After some awkwardness on the revelation, Samos the Shadow gives Jak & Daxter their next mission.
They are to head to Haven Forest and get rid of the Metal Heads that have invaded that area. It’s the source of his powers.

Haven Forest can be access with a platform found near the start of the Precursor Mountain Temple.
Also, to help with getting those Metal Heads, K-... I mean the mechanic girl, will let you have and keep the Jetboard for the rest of the game. You'll need it for this mission.
The Metal Heads of this mission like to fly through the air, so you gotta chase after them with the Jetboard. The only way Jak can kill them is to directly touch them while riding on the Jetboard.
It can take a few tries on each Metal Head, as you have to worry about maintaining your speed while also minding the turns you'll have to take. Those monsters might take different paths. It looks like Jak kills them by breaking their necks! You'll have to do this 5 times before the mission is done.
It is possible to use the Jetboard to jump from the peak at 13:03, to down below where the city walls are. It's pretty cool, but in a later video, I show off a glitch(?) with this.

The Jetboard isn't the fastest method of transportation, but it will now always be there for you to use, as you can use it even in places where the Zoomers aren't allowed.
One of the easiest ways to set off the city alarms WITHOUT involving a Krimzon Guard is to bump into a civilian with it.

Before I move on to another spot for another mission, Krew immediately calls up the duo for their next one.
Per the mechanic girl's positive word of mouth, Krew wanted Jak to put his Jetboard into good use and destroy all of the cargo boxes at the Port area of Haven City very close to where his Hip Hog Heaven Saloon was.
This mission says you should use the Jetboard to clear out all of these blue crates, but I usually just ignore that and sweep through them with a Zoomer, instead. It's a bit faster.
Watch out for the red mines that each cargo is surrounded by. They all come in different layouts and formations.
The cheapest way for me to deal with this mission is to just fly around with a Zoomer while clearing these spots with a Scatter Gun.
