James Pond Codename Robocod PS2 Gameplay ( Play It! ) Playstation 2
1In this video i test out the all time classic game that seems to have found its way to the Ps2 thanks to Play It!.
James Pond should be well known to any gamer born before the 90s, whereas a lot of people will remember him from the Sega Megadrive years, others will have played Pond games on systems like the Amiga and Atari ST.
I was quite eager to test this one out, unfortunately i quickly find out that my Playstation 2 seems to of turned into a megadrive as theres nothing on offer here that even tests the capabilities of the Playstation technology.
What were presented with is a game full of irritance, even watching the video back is making me cringe. Right from the start your placed in situations where its make the perfect jump, or repeat half the level again...this level of gaming was acceptable in the mid 90s, but not today (or even when this version was released)
Im not going to say much more as its only going to be negative. I think this one would be for true puzzle platform lovers only, and people with a lot of patience. Its a shame though, they could of done so much more with this game.
