UPDATE: Added the lyrics as subtitles in the video!
This song revolves around my fictional band Antificial.
Antificial started under One Step Ahead, which I created in the game Rock Band Unplugged on the Playstation Portable. Later, I also recreated them in Rock Band 2 and Rock Band 3 to be my default band to play as. I started giving them personalities and characteristics, like how the bass player Marco Akkers always wears clothes in the same color as his hair and how drummer Reggie Loopmans gets a lot of attention from girls because he plays without a shirt, which he doesn't like because he's actually gay.
The idea for this music video started when I got a school assignment where we had to create some products for a real or fictional band. I spent a lot of time and effort into writing a song, making it work inside Rock Band 3 and recording the band playing the song. I hope you'll enjoy this music video!

Lyrics:
We are plastic
Plastic people
Plastic guitar
Guitar Hero
Playing music
Playing notes
You cannot hear
It's just a show

Hit the button, always right
Strings not loose and not too tight
We are living plastic lives
Even faking our own smile

I am scared of the unknown
What to think and where to go
How to tell you, I don't know
I sing plastic notes alone

We are plastic
Plastic people
Antificial
Raise your fist
Hit the notes
We never miss
We don't know
We don't exist

Hit the button, always right
Strings not loose and not too tight
We are living plastic lives
Even faking our own smile

I am scared of the unknown
What to think and where to go
How to tell you, I don't know
I sing plastic notes alone

We are plastic people
We are artificial people
We will never be alone
As long as players play our shows
And we'll be playing in your mind
As we are all of the same kind
You're antificial just like us
But you're a minus and we're a plus
So

Hit the button, always right
Strings not loose and not too tight
We are living plastic lives
Even faking our own smile

I am scared of the unknown
What to think and where to go
How to tell you, I don't know
I sing plastic notes alone
