Jason's LX Torana SS A9X Tribute - Motorvation 37
Aussie Garage here with Jason about his 1976 LX Holden Torana SS A9X Tribute that he has created. It took Jason three years to build this vehicle and focusing on the Group C racing heritage in mind. So it has bigger brakes, adjustable suspension and it keep true to Holden a 355 Holden Stroked Engine.
The Torana has only done 57 kilometers since the rebuild, so it is fresh from the shop and ready to play. Jason has owned the vehicle for 20 years now and it also been a Pro Street build until now and its come a long way to be this perfect. I was three years of mental and financially draining energy but Jason likes it has taken five years off his life.
It running a 355 Holden Stroked Engine with factory clearance HSV 4-bolt, half grouted, o-ringed with smoothed valley, It has Kostecki re-worked Yella Terra Dash 3 Alloy heads with competition solid roller cam and is pushing 580 horsepower at the rear wheels on the dyno.
Its painted in Holden factory colour call Silver Mink with Jet Black Blackouts all painted with the highest quality PPG Deltron Paints and flow coated as well. The Torana spent 1200 hours in The Panel Shop in Bibra Lake for rust repairs, fabricated, gapping, panel and paint. It surely shows.
