Info: Desert of the dead is the unofficial name. The real name of the level is Solitary Sepulture. Anyways this is one of the RARE situations where I use custom music over audio overlay. Reason for this? Well first off, I simple couldn't find a theme for this level within the strict time limit I have at the moment. Second, I thought the custom music choice fit better then any other choice. Third, well I simply don't have many haunted desert type music and the ones that I did have, I've used already. (I usually don't like reusing songs.) Unlike most of my uploads, this is the actual real music for the level.

Anyways, so let's talk about the level some. This actually only took a few days to finish but that didn't change the fact that it was a difficult level to work on. Setting up the layout for this level took hours (about 3 to 4.) and that all involved arranging the background, moving a lot of the tiles to palettes around in YYCHR. Suprsingly, coming up with the palette was the easiest part of setting this level up. From there I was able to just flow with designing the level pretty easily. This level can be kind of difficult considering it's for World 2, at the same time it can be really easy as long as you don't rush. I'm thinking about maybe adding more power ups to the second part of the level. Overall this level was pretty fun to work on as I never designed haunted desert theme'd level when it comes to vanilla hacking. I was just glad I was able to pull it off.
