"Jepson Man's Theme"
3,495Took me long enough, 'eh? This has been sitting on my desktop for over a year now, so I figure why not put it up now when things are already crazy as hell.
I had always envisioned Jepson Man's stage as being a sort of Donkey Kong Country style jungle level, but with occasional bursts of acid rain. The key to the stage is that there are two paths through it, one above ground and one underground. They cross over several times in the stage, but when the acid rain comes, you'd better be on the underground path or you're going to take damage. That's why there appears to be a "siren" in the music; it's just warning that bad weather is coming.
I was never really sure if I liked how this turned out or not, but I guess after this much time it's clear that I don't have any real idea where else to take it from where it is now, so what you're seeing/hearing here is basically the farthest I got before the "composer's block" set in. Later!
