So I found myself marching right through Winkydink and up to the boss there, crushing it in one go -- kind of anticlimactic for the increasing amount of runs required to eventually beat the first and second boss.

The sequence that followed was great - they put an office twist on one of my favorite terrain themes - astral space! The boss there confirmed both of my suspicions regarding some late-game stuff, and now there's a much-tougher followup that is absolutely daunting. I'll need to grit my teeth and scour some strategy if I want to keep moving.
