Jesse 10,723 Score in TLoU2 No Return (Grounded, All S rank)
4I've recently been experimenting in grounded runs trying to get the extra 50 points bonuses for "not firing any weapon" and "not getting discovered." This led me to an interesting strategy using pipe bombs throughout the entire run, along with maybe a few melee kills and trap mines along the way.
With Jesse having 30% more currency and being able to re-roll the trading poll infinitely, we can use this to restock 6 pipe bombs before every encounter, and have leftover pipe bombs components to craft more mid-encounter so we don't have to worry about missing the "for emergencies only" bonus challenge for not firing any weapons for 50 points.
Of course in this run I did utilize my guns where I thought I could achieve more than 50 points using stuns + melee kills on infected (and also because if I think there will be 14+ enemies I probably won't be able to craft enough pipe bombs).
This was all legit, no cheating, no accessibility options.
Sensitivity Settings:
Look X/Y = 80
Aim X/Y = 35
Scope X/Y = 35
*Aim Acceleration = 100
Power Scale = 40
Aim Assist = 7
*Note about Aim Acceleration: I normally recommend turning this off, but if you are used to playing shooters on controller you might do better with this on. Definitely try both 1 and 100 and see what works best.
