1Fans of Jessica Simpson were alarmed when they saw she didn't appear or sound like her typical self in a recent Pottery Barn commercial.
“Hi, I’m Jessica Simpson, and welcome to my daughter Birdie’s room, designed by Pottery Barn Kids and a little bit of me,” the 42-year-old "With You" singer stated in a video she uploaded to Instagram on Thursday.
“I was really drawn to the geometric prints and the color scheme. This really, to me, is Birdie’s personality,” she continued, appearing to stumble over her words.
“Thank you everyone for checking out the adorable room of Birdie Mae Johnson,” Simpson smiled as she finished.
