Kanye West Says He’s Taking a 30-Day Cleanse
0On Thursday, November 3, Kanye West sent a series of tweets in which he disclosed that he would be observing a "fast" from speaking, drinking, sex, and pornography.
“I’m not talking to nooobody for a month,” he captioned a post that reads, “I’m taking a 30 day cleanse, a verbal fast. No alcohol, no adult films, no intercourse.” He concluded by noting that his “Twitter still lit,” indicating that he will continue to use social media while on his cleanse.
Ye followed his Twitter rant by complimenting basketball player Kyrie Irving, who has also made headlines recently for dubious reasons.
On Monday, October 31, Instagram again placed restrictions on West's account as a result of his most recent alleged infraction of the platform's rules. “We deleted content from @kanyewest for violating our policies and placed a restriction on the account,” a Meta spokesperson told Complex. “We may place restrictions on accounts that repeatedly break our rules, for example, we may temporarily restrict them from posting, commenting, or sending DMs.”
Ye's social media accounts were temporarily restricted on Instagram and Twitter after he made antisemitic remarks earlier in October, and now his account has been locked once more.
