Jet Set Radio Future | Part 1 - Amazing Game!
PLEASE READ:
Released in 2002 in the US, JSRF received excellent reviews from gaming critics, such as those at IGN and Metacritic. With average ratings being in the high 80's, and with most reviews praising the game especially for it's diverse characters and soundtrack, JSRF was one of the best-rated XBox games ever released during it's early years. However, with most of it's marketing taking place in Japan, JSRF did not receive much attention in the US and sold few copies. Although developed by big name producer Sega, as well as Smilebit, the company responsible for the Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games series, JSRF remains one of the most under-noticed and under-appreciated video games in American history. That is precisely why I am playing it.
JSRF, along with Halo: Combat Evolved, was the definitive nostalgic video game of my youth. It was the first game I ever played on the XBox, which combined with the 360 is still my most-played console, and although in my younger years I was not focused on story or game completion, I spent countless hours replaying the first area for it's amazing feel. As the most under-played game that I have ever personally enjoyed, I think it's high time that JSRF should receive a little spotlight. I'm certainly not famous on YouTube, but my hope is that I can convince some people of the worth of this game, which I find to be the best stunt game I have ever played. All that said, please enjoy the first episode of my second playthrough, Jet Set Radio Future!
