Rumor is, Sega is rebooting Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio with a massive budget, and guess what, I've playing Jet Set Radio to prepare a retrospective video these last few days. What a coincidence huh? It's actually a frequent occasion, whenever I play a forgotten retro video game series, that thing blooms, either a rumor appears or we learn a remake/remaster by a trailer. Well, I am happy, happy that this arcade graffiti making, rollerblading classic gets the attention that it deserves. Jet Set Radio is from 2000, as a dreamcast exclusive, it spread to wider audience when it was released on Steam and Xbpx 360 around 2013. Players rollerblade around Tokyo, fighting against other rollerblading gangs while doing different graffitis.
