I pretty much only heard of this game through a Game Sack episode, and later I found it on DUSTINODELLOFFICIAL, a channel that specializes in original hardware recordings of Sega Genesis/Mega Drive soundtracks. This game in particular's got a real bangin' soundtrack, but the game itself is kinda janky. It appears to be a pre-Sonic first-party title that didn't get much attention. It's not even an arcade port or anything. The ring system is kinda cool, I guess, but aside from that, it's pretty easily forgotten.
Also, is it just me, or does the player character look like Richter Belmont?
