José Navarrete - Doomsday Demo
This is my demo in it's entirety plus a little extra: A version of Muteness that doesn't fade out, so you can hear the nice ending solo.
An important note: The first two songs, Panic and Meltdown were uploaded here before, but the versions that were uploaded a while ago are sort of demos of these demos. The songs here are complete with vocals (Specially Meltdown, which was missing the ending). The Eternal Struggle stayed the same. Lone Pleasure is a previously unreleased song. The version of The Anesthetic Kiss is the same that I uploaded but with the proper vocals volume, the other version had the vocals way too loud. The version of Muteness used here is the 12-string version, except that this one doesn't fade out.

I hope you enjoy my work, and if you do, please spread!
Interesting facts about each track:
Panic: This was the first song I wrote and recorded for the demo. First I recorded a version that ended after the bass solo.
Meltdown: This was the second song I wrote. I was inspired by a Demolition Hammer song that my then-girlfriend showed me. I wanted to replicate the brutality of that song. I didn't manage to, but oh well...
The Eternal Struggle: I wrote the lyrics that carried the name of "The Eternal Struggle Between Pride and Assumption" around March 2012, but I wrote the instrumental part shortly before recording it. It was originally written in D# tuning, but I ended up recording it in E. The second solo for this song was recorded using my Freeman Stratocaster (a cheap strat clone, which is the first guitar I've ever got and used to record practically everything before this demo), I didn't use it on the first two songs but I used it more extensively on the next three ones.
Lone Pleasure: For this song, I wrote the instrumental part first, the lyrics just came after recording the instrumental part of the song. A lot of people get creeped out when they figure out the lyrics for the song and it's meaning. I got inspired by a psychology class where our teacher pointed out how different was your mental state before and after masturbating and shortly before that I saw a Foul Bachelor Frog image that said something like "Want a girlfriend, masturbate, don't want a girlfriend". I got interested in that topic and I wrote lyrics for that. I barely used my Jackson KE-3 in this one, only for the second solo.
The Anesthetic Kiss: This song was originally written in drop D, but I played it on a guitar in drop C and it sounded a lot better. I intended to record a version in drop D and drop C, but I just recorded the drop C version in the end. Only the solos were played with the Jackson KE-3.
Muteness: This is the only song in the demo in which I didn't use my Jackson KE-3. After the last two chords in the version that I put here I did some nice improvising, but I messed up way too much to include it here.
