Jotun is a hand-drawn action-exploration game set in Norse mythology. In Jotun, you play Thora, a Viking warrior who died an inglorious death and must prove herself to the Gods to enter Valhalla. Jotun: Valhalla Edition features Valhalla Mode, a boss rush mode with even fiercer versions of the already challenging jotun.
In Jotun, you will explore 9 levels, spread in 5 different regions.
While Nature is fixed as the first, you can explore the other regions in any order. Our recommendation, by order of difficulty is Nature – Cave – Winter – Storm - Fire
Jotun: Valhalla Edition contains Valhalla Mode, a replayable boss rush mode with even fiercer
versions of the already challenging jotun.
Valhalla Mode unlocks after the game is completed on normal mode, and is designed to be the
ultimate challenge for players having mastered the techniques to beat the bosses on normal difficulty.
In short, Valhalla Mode is meant to complement the Jotun experience upon subsequent playthroughs
Jotun: Valhalla Edition will be released on the Wii U™ system on September 8th, and on PlayStation®4 and Xbox One on September 9th. The title will retail at $14.99 USD on all platforms, with a 10% discount on first-week purchases. The game will be released as a free update to the PC/Mac/Linux versions on September 9th as well.
