Journey, a 2012 indie game, is a story about taking a journey and nothing more. It's simple, but in its simplicity, Journey is one of the most incredible video games I have played, even all these years after its release. In the video game space, it's not often a game like Journey comes around, but when they do, they tend to stick around. Games like Gris and Outer Wilds are in the same category, yet Journey's simplistic design and implementation of multiplayer is something worth remembering and discussing to this day.
