Judge Dredd SNES Playthrough 01
I do own the Sega version of this game, but the SNES one is still considerably better in a lot of respects.
This is a unique game in the sense of while being a movie tie in game, due to the source material on which it was based the game is more faithful to the comics than the movie, as in game Dredd's sprite is way more accurate to the comic design than the film design. It's a movie tie in in name only, thus it kinda broke from the movie tie in curse.
Also, I had technically started recording this years ago but it fell to the wayside and thus I'm just doing it from scratch. I feel like the developers were already making a Judge Dredd game already, but then included the movie when it came out.
I'd like to make a game like this but I digress. The gameplay is solid, and if you want to get a stockpile of lives then you need to arrest as many perps as possible. Some enemies you can't arrest but still, points are points. Though you only get one life between stages. And only have a maximum of 9.
The first several stages loosely follow the plot of the movie, but have unique variations and are actually fun. But we find ourselves in a bit of trouble.
