This talk is from the 2020 virtual Roguelike Celebration:

Julian Day is a software developer and poet from Winnipeg, Canada. He is the author of Shadow of the Wyrm, a traditional roguelike.

In this talk he explores the ways elements of roguelikes and other interactive media intersect with traditional and more experimental poetry. Poetry is often "that thing I hated in school", or "too complicated/abstract/I don't understand it", and his talk shares his perspective on the interesting work people are doing around two of the most important interests of his life.
