Jumping around (QUETOO)
65Nothing spectacular, just jumping around.
Quetoo, previously known as "Quake2world" is a Free, standalone first person shooter video game based on id Tech2. Which you can download from here: http://quetoo.org/
I found there to be exceptionally a lot of possibilities in this game and the video could of easily gone over 10 mins, but I decided to stick to the most interesting/hard ones.
You can use pretty much any kind of ledge to gain height with the additive properties of velocity during jumping. The shorter interval you have between jumps the higher you can get, which means there's potential to improve almost anywhere - you can climb huge distances given you find a nice route of ledges to pop through.
Air control is kind of a mix between VQ3 and Quakeworld, which means strafing straight may be harder using the conventional full-beat strafe technique. Most of the time I found inverted or half-beat styles more preferable, due to the view angle restrictions.
