Juno Binary Clock Retro 2.0 - 24+1 Neon Lamp Clock - Hardware test Preview RTC MCU AVR high voltage
Juno Binary Clock Retro 2.0 is the finest board ever made to date. Surprisingly it's not easy even just to design a board housing only 24 neon lamps, not easy in a way that it's done as perfectly as this one is. It's a hand-crafted PCB in the highest quality that I can manage. To have a finer view of the PCB traces, see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Br8FySOc7Ms
PS, of course, even more optimization had been done after that already extreme fine board.
Initial test, everything seems to work properly. The final finished project will have the option of slightly bigger neon lamps and in 3 different colors of blue, green and orange, and it also will come with a set of acrylic plates as a stand and a hanger, improvised as a sort of casing. A lot more coding to do, and the final board will be very sophisticated, fine and fun.
Of course, the most important thing is self-improvement and so with help from this board, a better high voltage control loop will be developed, even though the current one works very well. A c based driver/library will be written for this, so anyone can easily modify the code to their liking, so the goal is 3 efficiencies: 1, code efficient; 2, power efficient; and 3, adaptation efficient.
