Juno FDxboot 1.60 - From 12kB/s to 16.9kB/s -- Atmega8 -- 64 bytes per page AVR bootloader upload
Readback at 2Mbps is semi-stable, but it's has been written correctly. At 2Mbps, AVRdude is not responding fast enough to receive correctly and is struggling to receive and it's lagging behind. At 1Mbps it's very stable and the upload speed is still fast enough. PS. screen recording actually slows down the upload speed a bit, so I use my phone to record this. This means a faster computer probably can upload even faster than this.
New for V1.6:
Completely rewritten, added few useful and fun macros, speed optimized near absolute upload limit, 2Mbps is semi-stable at readback.
FDxboot1.6 Achieved Maximum upload speed with Atmega8:
2Mbps: 6102/0.36=16950 bytes per second
1Mbps: 6102/0.40=15255 bytes per second
FDxboot1.51 - 1Mbps - AVRdude V7.2
