Set in a beautiful Wyoming forest, Firewatch follows the game's protagonist, Henry, as he navigates his new job as a member of the fire watch in the summer of 1989. Perched high atop a mountain, it's his job to look for smoke and keep the wilderness safe from campers and forest fires. An incredibly hot and dry summer has everyone on edge, especially Henry's supervisor, Delilah. Delilah is your only real contact with civilization as she follows you around at all times via a small, handheld radio. Something strange is lurking in the woods though drawing Henry from his lookout tower and into the forest.
Join Peyton and James as they explore a wild and unknown environment, facing questions and making choices that could either build or destroy the only meaningful relationship with Delilah that we have. Shall we play a game of trust and maybe just a little bit of regret?
In this episode, we learn more about the messy life that Henry is leaving behind. We meet Delilah, our colourful and sassy supervisor that contacts us shortly after we arrive at the campsite. Delilah sends us out to look into a couple of teenagers playing with fireworks, and we discover a stranger and an abandoned cave that sets Henry on edge. Upon returning to the watchtower, Henry discovers that it has been broken into, and his typewriter has been trashed. Was it the teens, the stranger, or Delilah?
