Set in a beautiful Wyoming forest, Firewatch follows the game's protagonist, Henry, as he navigates his new job as a member of the fire watch in the summer of 1989. Perched high atop a mountain, it's his job to look for smoke and keep the wilderness safe from campers and forest fires. An incredibly hot and dry summer has everyone on edge, especially Henry's supervisor, Delilah. Delilah is your only real contact with civilization as she follows you around at all times via a small, handheld radio. Something strange is lurking in the woods though drawing Henry from his lookout tower and into the forest.
Peyton and James explore a wild and unknown environment, facing questions and making choices that could either build or destroy the only meaningful relationship with Delilah. Shall we play a game of trust and maybe just a little bit of regret?
In this episode, Henry finds evidence in the woods of someone listening over the radio and recording his and Delilah's conversation. Although the paranoia is getting to Henry, Delilah seems to be calm as cucumbers, until she isn't. Keep an eye out for the more rapid time changes that are now coming our way. We are no longer a rookie on the job, just as the forest fires startup.
