The game is created by the designers of Goat Simulator and features a wide-open sandbox world where players take on the role of an old, angry retiree who has been kicked out of their retirement home in a near-future society where people are no longer having children, leading to a lack of pension payments due to Millennials prioritizing video games over supporting the elderly. The primary goal is to survive by completing dangerous and often deadly tasks to earn "retirement tickets," which are needed to qualify for free retirement care.
The game is characterized by its ragdoll physics, allowing for chaotic and gory interactions with the environment, where nearly every object can be picked up and used to cause destruction. Players can explore a large city, interact with various items like bazookas, axes, and jetpacks, and engage in both single-player and multiplayer modes, including a free post-launch Player Versus Player (PvP) mode with up to four players.
