This is the replacement for "Here We Are".
Napstablook is the Royal Scientist.
Napstablook's experiments allowed the fragments of Gaster to re-enter the world, so I'd imagine they'd have to do with manipulating SOULs in some capacity. Thus, these monsters' SOULs broke down to an extent rather than their bodies, and as such their fights are in groups and helping to reconnect them to their original identities. Roughly similar mechanic to Lost Souls, I guess, though referencing encounterables seen earlier in the game rather than main characters.

I always found the Altertale set of swaps to be interesting, and am disappointed at how poorly they're executed in the original AU.
