Here we have another game on the PC Engine from NCS/Masaya Games. NCS was mostly known for turned based strategy affair but they decided to get some of that sweet sweet action sidescrolling money and thus Kaizou Choujin Shubibinman. Shubibinman stars 2 androids built by a crazy doctor and must stop an evil alien. Pretty typical stuff. What isn't typical is how stages are chosen and how upgrades are acquired. Shubibinman would eventually get 3 sequels, with the 1st sequel being more Mega Man styled and actually coming over to the US as Shockman, complete with questionable localization. Go Shubibinman, fight for everlasting justice or something.
