Monk's two CCWs are out and the staff one looks to be really amazing and probably the best choice if you want to make one of them.
Kanabo does:
1) increases the number of hits of the skill damage every turn by two (50% damage increase from 4 to 6 and increase duration to 3 turns)
2) Increase the amount of Tank-and-Counter hits of Ascetic stance from 3 to 5.
3) Ougi does bonus damage (similar to the damage at the end of the turn)
