A 1-credit clear of Karnov's Revenge [karnovr], played with MAME 0.229. Score: 714,150. RAY...WINS! Learned a lot of strats from Pete Hahn's 1cc at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-vlLnwUqKE - he definitely has a better handle on the Lee fight, which was my biggest challenge. Basic approach
- Yungmie and Clown: Wait for them to jump, wheel kick
- Jean, Matlock, Feilin: Crouching short kick x3 switftly followed by wheel kick. Do it from close enough that the wheel kick hits, but not too close. This felt pretty difficult at first but after some practice it's easy peasy. Don't just mash the kick button, it really is kick-kick-kick then waggle the joystick THEN kick.
- Marstorius, Karnov: Jump in with strong kick, then strong punch, then dynamite (f+f+strong punch). You just need to connect that 3 times...or less if you dizzy.
- Lee was my biggest challenge. Jump in sometimes works, sometimes not - there might be RNG, or you might need to start the kick far and early. He'll often eat several fireballs; I never got the hang of countering when he decided to jump in over fireballs.
