"Keep in Touch" by Zoroa {All Coins} | Geometry Dash 2.11
666Zoroa GD is back with another level already. He's been going really fast lately, which is fine by me as long as all of them are this high quality. This one in particular feels quite unique to me, which is much because of the song choice. I can't recall playing any good levels with a song like this. Usually, I'd say something about the colors being rather boring, but grayscale colors just suit this song the best. It gives the whole level a special atmosphere. This level will most likely get an Epic rating, and I think it will be 9 stars difficulty.
- OVERALL COIN RATING -
Silver. 2/4. The coins in this level are decent overall. None of them are lazy or free, but they could all have been improved in some ways.
- 1st coin: Silver. First, at 0:11, you gotta use the blue orb late, so that you can use the yellow orb right after it. You have to use the next green orb very late to become mini, which allows you to go through the part at 0:14. I like how this coin is integrated into the normal route, but it's quite easy to figure out what to do, and there are only a few hard timings at the start. The button at 0:18 is obviously a cool touch, which unlocks the coin at 0:33. I think the coin itself should have been put in a more hidden coin route, requiring some extra skill, which would make the coin harder to find and get overall, instead of just being free here after hitting the button.
- 2nd coin: Bronze. This coin is definitely the worst of the three. At 0:38, you have to touch the question mark, which is a bit tighter than the normal route, and then you can get the coin at 0:52. The question mark here acts as a purple orb. I'm not a big fan of using question marks, as they're very often used for coin routes. This coin would need to have more to it to get a Silver rating or higher.
- 3rd coin: Silver. During the last part, which starts at 0:55, you'll see some heart collectibles. It's obvious that these unlock the coin. However, getting them requires extra skill, which makes this a decent coin. For the first one at 0:56, you have to do a tiny jump down to be able to jump up again. It's also much better to have a few collectibles, instead of just one, like the 2nd coin did. To improve this coin, the collectibles could have had an even better design, and yet again, the coin itself shouldn't be free. I don't get the point of having some collectibles when they unlock a free coin. Like, why couldn't just the last collectible be changed with the coin? It changes nothing gameplay-wise.
