Ken Griffin of Citadel quite literally controls everyone and everything!
Citadel's exemption from the investment advisors act of 1940 states that they can provide long term incentives to previous employees to ensure that those peoples financial incentives match those of citadel.
Previous employees can continue to be paid performance fees or performance allocations and can still invest with Citadel and invest in private closed funds.
Tons of citadel employees have left to join BCG, the DTCC, the SEC, Top accounting firms like PWC and many other companies.
Therefore, Citadel literally has people that they still continue to pay right to this very day, working at the SEC, DTCC, and more.
No wonder why Ken Griffin gets away with all of his crimes!
