Covering songs is a hot topic of today, especially what happened to a local Filipino cover band Agsunta who recently went off the air. They were making huge money doing covers, but ion my case, I don't. I do covers for 3 reasons:
1.just for fun
2.for entertainment use only
3.to showcase how I approach a cert6ain song when I play it by ear..in preparation for playing it live solo or with a band. because being a keyboardist has some challenge to it.
Not, i know i didn't get it 100%, esp the choice of sounds and the arpeggaitors going on around the song. I just programmed the essential parts of the song that the sole keyboardist must play if he or she were to play this song with the band, and due to the limitations of having 61 keys, I have to compress my programming as small as possible into a single combi. I do hope you like my take on the song.
