Swordmasters of the Orient always captivated the hearts and minds of us dreamers and escapists. This is my take on the Kensei Monk subclass from Xanathar's Guide to Everything. While nowhere close to the damage output of other martial classes, combined with a tried and tested Battlemaster Fighter, it produces a distinctive mix of offensive and defensive mechanics with a lot of potential for further character development.
