Warning: This is the first place I chose to build my first Outpost but ONLY if you have at least 7-10 people in your team FIRST. Don't try to go there if you have less you WILL DIE :)

However, when you reach a point where you want to build an Outpost, I chose this place strategically simply because "unlimited" amount of food from animals ( looting or killing ), vendor just beside, copper ore Nod just beside to sell to vendor, etc. A lot of benefit. If you get attack or raid, you can simply run to the HIVE just beside and they can assist you as well.
