Kenshi - Remove Trees with "InGame Editor"
*Warning Read This:
The ingame editor is not meant to casually spawn things in. It is used for moddifying the game world (permanently if not careful), typically in the use of advanced mod creation. *Save A Back Up & understand that there's some risks. If You do things outside of the scope of this video; then you are probably going to crash and corrupt your game saves. That's not a joke.
The IGE doesn't have cheats of any kind, beyond building structures for free. And that's more of a necessity due to it being the tool to create NPC towns and the like. It is not made for cheating, and does not have the kinds of debug cheats you might normally expect from some games. It's a modding tool, for editing the world.
*Warnings:
*Placing a building and moving it with the directional arrows will break the navmesh and this can take up to 5 minutes to fix itself or you can quit and load your backup.
*Placing walls, towers, buildings and ramps and then trying to place turrets will get chracters killed and stuck if you move the buildings and forget to save and quit. (seriously this is a big thing, it also causes crashes, missing characters, random deaths etc.)
* DON'T USE THE ITEM MENU. SERIOUSLY. YOU CAN REALLY BREAK YOUR GAME. *
*Building inside NPC towns is possible but its a stupidly lengthy process outside of placing power/batteries/buildings (basically your town inside a town)
*Placing batteries and power sometimes won't update until you save the game and restart. Placing them inside a NPC town assumes Minimum rank Power rates for batteries unless placed inside a building you own.(then it will assume your power rates)
*Don't mess with your own town placement marker. It will always snap back to wherever the game thinks is the center. no you can't change this to stick somewhere else. The best way to move the town marker is to slowly expand the area with small shacks.
*Don't mess with roads (you'll probably corrupt your save)
*Don't mess with populations (you'll crash)
*DO NOT HIT FIX STUFF. SERIOUSLY. Yes it "fixes stuff" but it also deletes half the work you do because the game thinks it's broken. CTRL + SHIFT + F11 key combo does the same thing without breaking or deleting things.
**If you break the kenshi map, That can happen...Then you need to re-validate the game files, or reinstall the game!
