Kerbal Space Program is a wonderful sandbox simulation game about exploring a solar system. It's not our solar system but it's similar to ours, and the explorers in question are a green skinned gormless looking people called Kerbals. They have a lot more zest for space exploration than we do.

The game consists of building rockets, launching them into space and hopefully landing on other planets. It uses realistic physics and it's very tricky, but a lot of fun. I will be playing this a lot and may share some of my efforts after I get used to it.

The game is still in early development and lacks a tycoon mode which will be coming later. I look forward to seeing more from this game.
