A brief tutorial on how to build a rocket and get to orbit in Kerbal Space Program. The important steps to remember are:
1. Climb to around 13,000 meters
2. On a heading of 090 degrees, tilt over about 45 degrees.
3. Continue climbing until your apoapsis is at least 80,000 meters. You can check your apoapsis by hitting M for map view.
4. When your apoapsis is at least 80,000 meters, shut off the engines until you get near the apoapsis. "Near" means, in less than 30 seconds or so you will be at your apoapsis.
5. Turn prograde (prograde is the direction of your travel) and burn at full thrust until your periapsis increases to 80,000 meters.
