Kerbal Space Program: Pre-Intercept Simulation
10Scenario: Trireme Class Corvette, Mun Shadow, intercepting a lone retrofitted freighter, Classy Lady, a Jaeger Class Frigate.
The Trireme Class is a popular ship platform amongst professional privateers and private citizens. Mun Shadow is equipped with several Gen 2 Torpedoes, reliable and a relatively "quiet" signature. Supporting armaments are several Interceptor-Class missiles dubbed as Trash Bins.
The Jaeger Class Freighter/Frigate finds itself in the hands of not only law abiding citizens, but commonly pirates. The Classy Lady is equipped with a large array of Gen 3 Torpedoes, extremely fast and "loud". These torpedoes can engage targets at longer ranges but can be seen as far as 20-25 KM due to its exhaust plumes.
