Kev on the Matt and Jo show - Podcast audio from 6th June 2011
GUY Sebastian hit back at a prank caller by posting the prankster's mobile number on Twitter and encouraging his 40,000 followers to "return the favour".
Sebastian was furious yesterday after enduring a night of harassing calls and texts to his personal mobile.
He became incensed when the anonymous prankster began abusing his wife Jules.
The former Australian Idol winner later regretted taking to the social networking site in "a moment of anger".
He published the number with a message: "This bloke keeps pranking me. Feel free to return the favour."
Sebastian, currently a judge on Channel 7's X Factor, later tweeted an explanation to his fans.
"Ok in hindsight prob not a nice thing to do. But when it's all hours of the night and some prankers abuse the hell out of u, u can lose it."
Soon after Sebastian's post, the prankster's number had been disconnected.
Sebastian's manager, Titus Day, said police were not involved.
I called up The Matt and Jo Show back in 2011 to give my opinion on putting up the pranksters phone number online.
