Over the last decade, the incredible efforts made by game designers, researchers and foundations has inspired the World Bank, UNICEF and NGOs to launch large-scale innovative solutions that capitalize on this work. Today refugee children in Syria and Bangladesh are acquiring academic and social emotional learning skills through games. This session offers a historic perspective of the movement and presents insights and data of how children around the world are using games to learn.
