Yum Brands! Seems hell bent, it appears, on uprooting Kentucky Fried Chicken and any historical value and meaning it has on folks, moving to Texas, donating their Ky HQ, changing the store up to Saucy instead of having a original idea and starting a entirely new restaurant, changing who my uncle is in ads in a desperate attempt to remain relevant in my generation

They could fix everything easily by allowing me to represent my generation and my family legacy through the brand, that would be better marketing than changing the man who made it, they can focus more on doing things right, fixing their customer service, have some Americans answer the phone for American complaints and actually have solutions instead of “sure we will forward your issue” then never hearing back again

Fix their quality control

Do more inspections

Do things RIGHT do them the way my uncle intended, THATS what distinguished KFC from other food joints back in the day, today Yum Brands! Is just making it another pointless chain with no meaning, I’d love to see meaning out back into kfc again, for colonel sanders to mean something in society again not just misinformation and jokes erasing his legacy from todays generation, we’re too focused on money over quality

Don’t get me wrong, franchisees exist In kfc that DO care and take the extra steps to go above and beyond doing things right, the KFC Foundation is a fantastic organization paying homage to my uncle and what he stood for.

But for the core of YUM BRANDS! And their CEO Mr. Gibbs all these folks in charge that don’t know or care about the history of the brand that’s enabling them to have that rich paying position they have, are losing the sight of the reason KFC exist, KFC, Lees famous recipe chicken exist because my family wanted to share our food with you, our service, and hospitality, we want the best job possible done, now does this mean my uncle shouldn’t have sold the business? Maybe but he did, and here we are and here’s where I stand, I can do marketing no matter where KFC hq is, people already look to me for the history and unofficial representation of the brands my family started, I just want the legacy remembered and the legacy of those workers who care truly about what they do.
