KH Birth By Sleep Final Mix (PS4) - Final Xehanort 2 (LV1 Critical/Aqua) *No Zero EXP*
1Now this fight I won't even try to no damage, this is ANNOYING on Lv1. To be honest though I was expecting this fight to be longer. When I did this on PSP it took over 30 minutes and the only other video on Youtube is just as long. Since last time I've figured out how to considerably cut down on the time spent fighting this boss.
It should be obvious just from watching but there is no effective strategy to deal any real damage to Xehanort. In addition to that, he will actively dodge attacks and shotlocks are useless most of the fight. The only time you can shotlock him is during his Desperation Move when the screen goes dark. Bosses in BBS don't become invincible when performing a DM which often makes it a nice time to attack. When using a shotlock, you want to stand a bit away, otherwise the shots will miss and just orbit around Xehanort.
When Xehanort loses a bit more then half his HP, he goes into his second phase and this is when the fight gets slow. Instead of doing his DM, he will often spam a grabbing attack. If you get grabbed by the Guardian, you will be teleported into another area with the Guardian and Terra. Using the reaction command on Terra will trigger a Trinity Limit which will do a little bit of damage. Since his DM is much less common in this phase, you will need to rely on Rhythm Mixer since it's attacks all hit multiple times. If you don't have Rhythm Mixer, Thunder Surge will send you into Ghost Drive instead which is terrible so get Rhythm Mixer. Be aggressive and don't be afraid to take damage if your in position to heal it.

Q: What does the title mean by "No Zero EXP"?
A: In the HD version of BBS, Zero EXP was given hidden properties to buff you up to an acceptable Strength and Magic level to actually deal damage to enemies that are way stronger then you. This also happens in the HD version of KH1 but unlike in that game, this game goes way overboard and makes it actually more viable to play the game at Level 1 then Critical Mode normally. Because of this, I am removing Zero EXP on bosses to get the true Level 1 like on the PSP version.
