I beat Sephiroth after Space Paranoids 2. This is almost the toughest fight in the game, so you need a solid strategy. The best way to win at LV1 is to lure him to his sword combo, that can be Guarded and Counterguarded easily. For the blue orbs, the only 100% way to avoid them is to use Reflect, Round Break doesn't work always.
I've also used the Sweet Memories keyblade without accessories to have the lowest strenght.
