Khalsa Aid, Randeep Hooda Provide Relief To Drought-hit Maharashtra
Actor Randeep Hooda volunteered with Khalsa Aid, an NGO that provides humanitarian aid, to bring relief to drought-hit areas around Nashik, Maharashtra. Drought Early Warning System (DEWS) categorises 42% of India as 'abnormally dry'. In May, Khalsa Aid volunteers reached Nashik to help provide water to villagers with the help of tankers. They also sanitised wells with water purification tablets.
