Kid Chameleon 2: Heady Metal's Revenge ep15 - My First Attempt!
33Part 15 of my first attempt at Drios's awesome Heady Metal's Revenge Kid Chameleon project.
Wow, what a level! This seriously felt like a hybrid between Chill Factor and Elsewhere 11 - two of the hardest levels we've come across thus far. It was quite a challenge for me, evidenced by the fact that I cursed up a storm trying to get through it XD Unlike Chill Factor, the puzzle-solving here was spot on. Rather than having you wander aimlessly around for a solution, here you actually had to pay attention to quite a few things, including shooter block paths, avoiding *tons* of drill blocks, and taking *extreme* care with the bottomless death pits. I want to point out a couple of moments here that I did not cover in my commentary:
4:48 Well, if you think the prizes are that good, then why don't you just--ugh never mind -_-
7:30 The shooter block I hit here would have actually unblocked the telepad, except it hit that sphere at the top left, and basically ruined any chance at accessing it. That's some really bad luck right there.
31:51 Ok, so it took me this long to realize you could destroy those ice blocks, but I don't follow through and get past the shooter blocks as well, possibly discovering a new area? Geez, could I have really been that distracted by my own commentary!?! Yeah.... so in other words, my advice is to pay very close attention to what you're doing in this level. Also maybe try the two methods listed above I failed to exploit in this attempt, as they could be easier routes. Oh, and also, if you beat this level, please control your pharynx... it can get out of control real easy and we kinda don't want any of that XD
