The FDS version has a save function and also notice the enhanced music in some parts. I really like the gameplay on Kid Icarus, but the level up and "best ending" system is time consuming and confusing. Just playing to beat the game regardless of ending, I think it is fun. In this Japanese version, you can only get the best ending if you never die a single time. Good luck with that. :P
