Uploader's comments: At last! Some months after the release of Kid Icarus: Uprising I was finally able to upload this tribute to this overlooked game franchise. Why overlooked? Because there are...exactly 2 games (before Uprising)! So you can't really talk about an anniversary XD
The original for the NES sure was hard as heck, but Kid Icarus: Uprising is so much fun! The dialogues, the gameplay, everything! Also, it has so much content! But I'm getting carried away~
This mix consists mainly of the Title theme, which is pretty much the main theme in Kid Icarus: Uprising. At two points the Underworld theme pops in, during the song there's also a guest appearance of the famous plumber. And in the most epic part of the song, the theme of Touhou 10.5's final boss, the celestial Tenshi, kicks in (it's even called "Wonderful Heaven", now tell me that doesn't fit!). I always imagine Pit sitting on a cloud playing this part on a guitar...and it looks awesome.
This is really a nice, upbeat song. Happy 25th anniversary, Pit~
